Every time I visit Women Health Boutique, the staff treats me as if I'm someone they love. Having breast cancer was already hard on me, but knowing that I'm able to walk into a place where they don’t treat it as just a job really brightens up my day. Lately, Lynn has been helping me, and she is Awesome with a capital A. Her kindness and professionalism make all the difference. If I could, I would give them a hundred stars!

UPDATE: I have changed from 1 star to 5 stars. After several months, I worked up the emotional courage to try again. It could have been that all of us were having a bad day that first visit. I called Elaine as requested and set up a new appointment. It could not have gone better! The atmosphere at the shop was improved, and everyone was welcoming. I was appropriately greeted on entering. Elaine spent a couple of hours with me. I had no idea shopping for mastectomy bras would take this long or need this much attention. So I learned a LOT. Elaine was gentle and encouraging and very helpful. I have skin sensitivities (which showed up about 5-10 minutes of wear while there) and due to those, fitting me is a challenge. I can say she was understanding and up to the challenge - most people are not. We sized and ordered some not in stock, she sent me home with a bag to try on, and I came back another day with answers and to try the newly ordered ones. I'll be getting another one soon as we had to order again. I'm glad that I decided to try again and come here. Based upon my new experience I would definitely
recommend them. They are eager to help and willing to correct things when not working well. Thank you!

Women's Health Boutique was recommended to me by a medical supplier and cancer team after a recent double mastectomy. I knew I would need an appointment to be measured, but I wanted to see where they were, what they had (I needed compression garments and those were not on their website), and ask preliminary questions. The greeting I was given was "Hello, do you have an appointment?" When I said, "no", I was told I had to have one. This "you have to have an appointment" was the answer to everything I tried to ask and I was almost in tears when I finally asked if it was possible just TO LOOK at what they had - well, yes, that was OK but I would have to have an appointment to be measured, etc. While she warmed up a little, I still felt like an unwelcome, creepy, off the street person who was wasting their time. It would have been nice to have been welcomed in, asked if I had questions, told a little of what they do and showed some things, before suggesting I make an appointment for a fitting. I really would like to say I won't be coming back and they won't be touching my body; however, they seem to be the only place in the DFW metroplex for this type of thing and I may have to.

I have been to this place twice and I’m writing a review this time due to my experience. For those of us that have had a mastectomy and were not a candidate for reconstruction, we already know how emotionally and mentally taxing recovery is. For me the process of prosthetics has also been a stressful journey. My first set of prosthetics I paid for out of pocket and at that time i couldn’t get the ones I wanted and had to get mix match ones due to what WHB had in stock. Fast forward to getting approved for custom prosthetics. I called to make an appt and I wasn’t asked any questions, even as a returning customer, the person on the phone just kept telling me they cost 2600$ and questioning who was paying. That’s not the issue until I drive 30 mins and show up for my appt and no one told me to bring my current prosthetics. Second issue is the young lady fitting me acted annoyed that I wanted custom prosthetics. When explaining what I wanted she kept bringing out forms for me to try while telling me she would have to order the other. I’m not understanding at first because I’m coming for custom prosthetics. So finally I ask why she keeps telling me that, and she explains that the custom prosthetics require me to wear both forms and then be scanned. So basically I have driven here for an appt to have to come back 2 more times to even have the prosthetics ordered. Then the young lady tells me I should have brought mine from home. Well I would have if I had been instructed, but I expected the professionals to have left and right forms, not one form of every size, or to have asked more questions then who was paying when I scheduled the appointment. Once I expressed my disappointment there really was no empathy given from the person fitting me, just a disingenuous apology, and her telling me I could go somewhere else. When she went behind her desk, with no summary of what the solution was or anything, at that point I walked out, but I came back a few minutes later, just to hear her discussing me with the other young lady workin there…when she saw me she disappeared to the back to avoid me. I was returning because I realized we never confirmed if she was going to order what we needed to move forward or what. However after her behavior I just asked for the managers information to follow up.

Claudia at Greenville Avenue, Dallas, helped me select the best brassiere for my damaged breasts. She took her time finding the right size, look, and feel that worked for me. I was impressed with her knowledge of inserts to help with post-surgery breast conditions.

Wonderful customer service! The compassionate women here made me feel welcome and comfortable. I haven’t gone in for a fitting yet, but I was treated to a friendly, courteous staff. It is such a relief to talk to someone who understands the products needed to help alleviate side effects from treating breast cancer. They made me feel at ease while discussing my needs over the phone to schedule an appointment. You can tell they feel purpose in their work, and I’m looking forward to being an ongoing customer! ?Long overdue, but the fitting was thorough and painless. I was fitted for all the garments I was recommended and the difference in trying to figure it out with online retailers was night and day! I was definitely not ordering the right size for optimal effectiveness. WHB worked to get me two compression sleeves through my insurance, which was so amazing because I was told they would have to see what gets approved. Really happy with my experience here from start to finish!

My first experience at the Dallas Women's Health Boutique was great. The service was excellent and the staff was very helpful. Mckenzie was so easy to work with. Mckenzie had such patience and very kind. I felt so comfortable and at ease working with her. She did a great job fitting me. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
